The Supervisory Board is denominated by the General Shareholders Meeting. The three members of our Supervisory Board are independent of the company and their remuneration is not depending on company results. Their task is to supervise and give advice to the management. They also decide on denomination and dismissal of the directors of Tauw Group bv, the holding company. Their responsibilities are ruled by a regulatory agreement. One member of the Supervisory Board is denominated on proposal of the workers committee. At present the three members of the Supervisory Board are:
Prof. Ernst ten Heuvelhof, Ph.D. (1954), Chairman, Board member since 2001,
term ends in 2009
Professor in Public Management at the Universities of Delft and Rotterdam,
member of the Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment in the
Netherlands, Associate of Berenschot Procesmanagement B.V.
Furthermore he is Supervisory Director at Quaron Holding nv, Irado nv and the Netherlands Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and chairman of the Stichting Techniek en Marketing.
Jos Zandhuis (1956), Board member since 2007, denominated on proposal of the
Workers Committee, term ends in 2011.
Partner at Boer & Croon Strategy and Management Group, member of the
Supervisory Board of Insearch / Synergy investments, member of the Board of
Committee Alkmaardermeer.
