On 4 December this month Tauw Group bv signed a framework contract with Dow Europe. This signing session prolongs the cooperation between the two companies until 2012. The new contract comprises an expansion of the Tauw services which Dow makes use of to date. In addition to clean-up operations Tauw will from now on also be able to carry out impact assessments and sustainability studies. The contract now also covers services in a number of countries in the Middle East and Africa.
The cooperation between Tauw and DOW started in 1999 with activities for the Dow remediation group at the Terneuzen office in the Netherlands. In the course of the last few years said cooperation has expanded to the extent that Tauw currently undertakes work for Dow Europe in virtually all countries where the Tauw group operates.
