Tauw aims to reduce its CO2 emissions by 20% within the next three years. In order to achieve this target, Tauw is implementing several measures including switching to green power, promoting commuting by public transport and examining waste flows.
Tauw's objective is to further reduce the CO2 emission from natural gas, lease cars, electricity, purchased heat, fuel, business use of private cars, and fuel for flights by the following percentages:
By 2012: 5% relative to 2010
By 2013: 15% relative to 2010
By 2014: 20% relative to 2010
Tauw has already reached its reduction targets for 2012 in 2011.
