Join us (digitally) during the RemTech Expo on 21-23 September

From 21 to 23 September 2022, several of our TAUW experts will share their knowledge during the RemTech Expo in Ferrara (Italy), an International Conference and Exhibition on land and water remediation markets and technologies. Participation (both live and online) as an attendant is free for everyone after registration.

TAUW will give several presentations during the following sessions:

Inventory of leakages underground industrial pipelines 

Wednesday 21 September, 12.35 – 12.50h
Jasper Schmeits, Innovation Manager at TAUW, will give a presentation on ‘Inventory of leakages underground industrial pipelines’. During the 11th session on ‘Oil and hydrocarbons remediation’, Jasper will discuss the challenges on possible leakages in underground pipelines / sewage systems on different industrial sites through Europe and the possible technologies in detecting the several kinds of leakages. As TAUW we conducted an inventory on the possible threats the leakages pose to the total chemical industry.

Considerations within different digital communication techniques

During the session on 'HRSC, High Resolution Site Characterization' Jasper Schmeits will also give a presentation on 'Considerations within different digital communication techniques'. During his presentation he will give concrete examples of projects where we have applied several types of digital technologies and where we have facilitated internal and external communication.

Mercury in European river bed sediments and climate change

Friday 23 September, 14.50 - 15.05h
Dr. Patrick Jacobs, Senior Project Manager at TAUW, will give a presentation on 'Mercury in European river bed sediments and climate change'. During the 27th session on 'Environmental damage and sediment management', Patrick will explain why the focus of attention should be on European rivers when considering and assessing the risk of mercury contamination and the role climate change plays in this regard.

About RemTech Expo

The aim of the Conference is to share information on knowledge, innovation and case histories, to encourage the development of remediation processes and the application of new and sustainable technologies and bring together experts, problem owners and suppliers of available services and technologies. The annual RemTech Europe conference takes a snapshot of the European market and the development trends.

The first two days of the conference 19-20 September will be fully digital, and broadcasted via streaming. The subsequent three days (21-23 September) take place in a hybrid form; so live in presence at Ferrara but also broadcasted via the online RemTech platform. Participation is free of charge.
