Roland Arnz, general manager for Tauw in Germany, has been appointed as a member of the Executive Board of Tauw Group as of January 1st, 2014. Together with CEO Annemieke Nijhof he will take responsibility for managing Tauw Group.
The appointment of Roland Arnz to the Executive Board is in line with Tauw’s ambition to strengthen its position as a European consultant for environment and sustainability, with a strong focus on the industrial sector. Focus points for Arnz will be the cooperation between Tauw offices across countries and the strenghtening of international partnerships. Arnz will oversee Tauw activities in France, Germany and Spain, as well as the supporting staff departments Marketing & Communication and IT & Facilities.
Roland Arnz, PhD, started his career with Tauw in 1995. He was responsible for successful growth strategies in Germany, through business development, expansion of markets and offices, and takeovers. His experience with multinational clients will help Tauw achieve its growth ambition in the industrial markets. For Tauw GmbH in Germany, Arnz will hand over his responsibilities as country director to Katharina Jankowicz, member of the management for Germany.
