Over the coming years, Tauw will be advising Sime Darby Unimills on Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) in a range of different areas. To this end, both sides have recently signed a framework agreement.
Sime Darby Unimills, which has offices in Zwijndrecht (the Netherlands) and elsewhere, produces and refines vegetable oils and fats, which are then used in the manufacture of calf milk replacements, bakery goods, foodstuffs, margarine, candles and soap.
Tauw has already been providing Sime Darby Unimills with HSEQ support for several years. With this new, long-term contract, Sime Darby Unimills has chosen one single contract partner to prevent the fragmentation of information (knowledge and experience) between the various consultancies. Sime Darby Unimills chose Tauw because of its extensive knowledge and experience in a large number of areas of expertise and the positive experiences in recent years.
We are proud to have the opportunity to support Sime Darby Unimills in areas such as soil investigation, soil remediation, wastewater treatment advice, noise, emission measurements, procedures and permits, compliance and ISO certification over the coming years.
The framework agreement will run from January 2019 to 2021, with options to extend.
