TAUW is pleased to announce that dr. Heike Sengstschmid joined its Supervisory Board (SB) as of 12 January 2026. Her appointment strengthens the Supervisory Board at an important moment in TAUW’s development as a leading European environmental consultancy.
Heike Sengstschmid currently serves as Vice President Operations at WAGO, a global supplier of connection and automation technology. She brings over 25 years of international leadership experience in both listed and family‑owned organisations. Her background includes global operational responsibility, large‑scale transformation programs, digitalisation initiatives and data‑driven performance improvement; all highly relevant to TAUW’s strategic direction and the expectations of our clients.
Having worked at organisations such as SKF, Nexans, Lenze and WAGO, Heike Sengstschmid has a strong understanding of how companies scale across countries and how customer expectations evolve in international markets. This perspective is particularly valuable as TAUW continues to strengthen its European collaboration and operational excellence.
Jan‑Paul van Term, Chair of the Supervisory Board, states: “Heike brings exactly the combination of strategic insight and practical experience we were looking for. As Supervisory Board, we aim to challenge, support and guide TAUW. With Heike on board, we are even better positioned to do so.”
Heike Sengstschmid adds: “I see TAUW as an organisation with a strong societal mission and bold ambitions. With my experience, I hope to support future‑proof decision‑making, with attention to both impact and continuity.”
The Supervisory Board now consists of Jan‑Paul van Term, Eline Oudenbroek, Dennis de Vreede, and Heike Sengstschmid.
