Captiva Principal Investments has acquired a production site in Fulda (Germany) from KAP AG. The seller is KAP AG, which with its subsidiary - Mehler AG – has been based at the site since 1887. The property comprises around 14 hectares of land located in the centre of Fulda.
Captiva Principal Investments has acquired a production site in Fulda (Germany) from KAP AG. The seller is KAP AG, which with its subsidiary - Mehler AG – has been based at the site since 1887. The property comprises around 14 hectares of land located in the centre of Fulda.
The focus of Captiva Principal Investments is on investments with value-add potential - e.g. real estate with development potential in the context of planning or building permits, existing properties with value-add potential. Captiva will develop and reposition the buildings as part of active asset management.
In terms of environmental aspects, Captiva was advised by TAUW GmbH. As part of the acquisition, TAUW conducted an environmental due diligence (EDD) to determine environmental liability risks from current and historical uses. The results of the due diligence and other follow-up assessments helped Captiva to better assess the further development of the buildings.
