We believe that sustainability is not a particular product, but a way of thinking. At TAUW, sustainability is part of nearly everything we do and is reflected in our services. Through the years, we have built up a large network of interdisciplinary experts in a variety of fields. It is precisely this combination of in-depth technical and organisational know-how, paired with detailed industry knowledge and consulting expertise, which distinguishes TAUW from other consultants in sustainability.
Our work also ties in seamlessly with many of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. We directly contribute to several SDGs in various ways through our work for clients, in our operations, with our people and through partnerships. We recognize that the 17 SDGs are the global compass setting the direction and paving the road towards 2030, harmonizing in a holistic, interconnect and practical way all the dimensions of sustainable development.
We at TAUW have been starting our journey to embrace the SDGs by assessing where we can make the most impactful contributions within our organization. In the coming year, we will complete the comprehensive evaluation of the TAUW Value Chain against the SDGs, identifying primary focus areas, setting targets and planning actions, through a groupwide participated process.
This is also how we want to continuously develop the purpose and mission of our company, as part of our role of being a leading European Environmental consultancy firm.
